This page is Norcold EZ Install Overview. When you purchase the Fridge Defend by ARP the installation documentation will be available for download.
This drawing is an overview of the Fridge Defend Norcold EZ install wiring. The Norcold control and boiler housing are shown to aid the install by seeing the components within the cooling unit compartment. The Norcold Fridge Defend install overview is as follows:
Starting at the left is the RV supplying power to the typical Norcold refrigerator control box. In the middle is the Fridge Defend by ARP control box which in turn supplies power to the Norcold recall device on the left. The Norcold recall device in this example is a boiler housing thermal switch, your recall will differ, but the install principles are he same.
The installation is as easy as 1-2-3:
1) Decide where you want to locate the Fridge Defend control housing.
2) Wire the power and ground from the RV to the Fridge Defend.
3) Install the temperature sensor.
